still, siempre, hangs her heart in Miami, where she was born and raised.

She explores bodies and landscapes through speculative and fragmented lyric poetry.

heather combines her poetic and environmental fascinations with her work as a letterpress printer. She is a studio manager and instructor at Bow & Arrow Press at Harvard University.

Her poetry was supported by a 2021 Artist Fellowship from the Somerville Arts Council. She has taught workshops through 826Boston, Mass Poetry’s Student Day of Poetry, and in collaboration with Tiny Turns Paperie for the Bow Market Book Fair; judged for Poetry Out Loud; and hosted the Poem Space Reading Series (currently on pause). She is an editorial associate for Scoundrel Time and has previously been an editorial assistant for AGNI and Quick Fiction.

She never outgrew her science fiction & fantasy obsession. In an alternate universe, she works in disaster recovery. In this one, she is Editor for Translation Series and Distributed Books at Harvard University Press.

All her tattoos have wings.
