heather is a K-12 workshop leader for Mass Poetry’s Student Day of Poetry, and has previously taught poetry workshops for 826Boston. She also serves as a judge for Poetry Out Loud.


Her appearances include panels on the MFA experience for the Boston Book Festival; on poetry and science, science fiction and poetry, and confessional poetry for the Massachusetts Poetry Festival; as well as a panel on poetry, science, and the fantastic for the Salem Literary Festival.


heather’s past readings include events such as Belt It Out, the Boston Poetry Marathon, the Cambridge Public Library Poetry Series, Cambridge Riverfest, A Celebration of Space, The Cellar Continues, Clouds and Other Louds, Goli’s Gallery, Hasslefest, Mr Hip Presents, poems2go live, the Prudential Summer Reading Series, and the U35 Reading Series.


She has been honored to read with Simeon Berry, Lori Desrosiers, Fritz Ward, and July Westhale for their book launches.
